An hour later.

Cindi flops on the couch, leg-shakingly tired but feeling a kind of bliss she had hardly imagined possible. She shifts slightly, having flopped almost on top of her tail, moving it out of the way.

The spaniel-moth is wrapped in towels, so in a weird way she is more dressed than usually.

"You know... all this fur, and fursuit, and magic, and gender stuff... it has really wrecked our sense of modesty, hasn't it."

Akari is similarly 'dressed', with a towels wrapped loosely around her as she laughs, "Guess so, yeah? It is just the two of us here, so nothing to really be modest about with one another."

Cindi laughs: "Yeah, but... can you imagine us being as loose about all this, about nudity, before the magic happened?"

Akari hums in thought, "I mean... kinda? We were pretty casual about it at cons... Maybe not quite 'lounging around naked' comfortable but..."

Cindi nods: "Yeah. But, er... whatever it even means now. I mean, if we go to a con like this in the future... we technically are naked and now I can't erase the thought from my mind."

Akari giggles, "All the more reason to start making dresses! A lot of folks at the meet-up had some kind of 'outfit' on... maybe that's why? We can always ask in the group."

Cindi hums with a smile. "You definitely have a point there. And... " She blushes a bit: "... M-maybe I want to be in a small and cool rock chick dress one day. D-dang..."

Akari's ears shift about to listen closely, "I still think you'd make that... well, 'rock'. I just want a basic pink pretty dress. ...maybe not that basic. Well, if we're making it, maybe basic to start."

Cindi nods, smirking slightly. "Maybe best start with uncomplicated stuff. Like, uh, once upon a time with fursuiting."

Akari giggles, leaning against Cindi, "A familiar road in some respects. But, I'd love to see Cindi the rock puppy-moth."

Cindi blushes some more. "Er... Does that create more expectations or motivate me?"

Akari giggles, "The latter... I hope. You look beautiful to me in nothing but that towel, so I don't have any expectations to disappoint, love."

Cindi nods, then pauses and swallows. "Would it... W-would it... Disappoint you if I realized I wasn't..." She motions at their chests. "You know."

Akari laughs, before stopping herself, "Ah, sorry. Just... what? Of course I won't be disappointed! I Love You." She pokes Cindi's side for emphasis.

"That applies to the whole of you. I'd ask the same, are you disappointed in me for realizing I am... you know?" She asks the question, but it's clear she already knows the answer, and is just trying to prove a point.

Cindi blushes, smiling. "Well uh... Of course I love you..." She glances aside: "I just... Some part of me just wanted to hear it. I..."

"... I'm pretty sure I might be... Maybe possibly potentially... You know." She gives a weak, wary smile.

Akari smiles, poking Cindi again, but keeping her hand there supportively, "Well I'll say it again. I love you. Of course I love you. And... if it is, or isn't, I'll continue to love you, and support you."

Cindi sighs softly and leans on her girlfriend. "... Thank you." She snuffles softly at Akari's shoulder before continuing. "Guess the question really isn't if I have a feminine, female side. Pretty obviously I do. But... Do I have a male side?"

Akari shifts to let Cindi lean in closer, reaching out to hold her. "I... hadn't thought of it like that. I mean... it's not really one or the other, especially not for us, it feels like."

Cindi leans into the embrace. "Yeah... You're probably right." She sighs. "I feel so lost. Sorry."

Akari sighs, and holds her lover. "No, I'm sorry. I feel so... weird. I really rushed into this, huh? Me. I never rush into anything, and yet... and I keep worrying I left you behind. That was my biggest fear about all of this, you know. As silly as thinking I wouldn't love you, I suppose, but I really thought... me choosing was hurting you."

Cindi nuzzles softly. "Yes... you... maybe you rushed and got excited. But... can I truly blame you for something that makes you feel like you found yourself? Like... yeah, you've gone quickly, but... then this all got thrusted on us with no warning, as well." She swallows. "...but I don't want you to slow down on my behalf, either."

Akari kisses Cindi softly, "I won't. I don't want you to go fast on my behalf either, alright?"

Cindi blinks: "But I'm not..." She returns the kiss. "Um... maybe a bit. I don't know."

Akari hums at the kiss, "I just don't want you to force anything that you don't want... especially not because of me."

Cindi nods, leaning against Akari again. "I know. And... I don't think you are. I... am uncertain." She gives a half-hearted laugh: "...keeping my options open, as it were."

Akari nuzzles against her, letting her towel slip off a bit to help her get cozy, "Nothing wrong with that, I think. It's not exactly a small question, 'Who am I?'" She sighs, "I'm still unsure of it myself. And it's a little scary, and a little exciting, to think about it all, even when I'm starting to know who I want to be."

Cindi sighs: "Yeah... pretty much all that. For now... I definitely enjoy this. Whatever else I end up doing... I won't be giving up being in fur and fem with you." She gives a small smile upwards as she leans on Akari's shoulder.

Akari squeezes her hooves around Cindi and grins, "We're probably long past the point that either of us could give up on being in fur, aren't I?"

Cindi nods into Akari's fur, smiling as she does. "Mm. Yeah." She is quiet for a moment or two before continuing: "...guess time will tell about the other stuff. The more I read on the topic the more the answer seems to be 'when you know, you know', which is like, maddeningly unhelpful."

Akari sighs, "It really isn't helpful, but... it also... kinda makes sense? To me, at least. It's all uncertainty and questions until suddenly, I know that it's right."

Cindi sighs, giving a small wry smile: "Guess so. Well, maybe I'll come to a conclusion as you start your... journey-thingy. However the magic works."

Akari nods, "If what happens to me can help you, then I'll be very happy."

Cindi shrugs: "Heck if I know. But I'll be supporting you anyway, so a moot point until we find out."

Akari giggles, "Just having you here makes it all feel like it'll be easy. It's not often that Akari gets to be the one in the lead, afterall."

Cindi smiles, her ear flopping against Akari's neck: "Mm. I like that... I think I want to let you have the lead in this. See where that gets us."

Akari straightens up slightly, "You can count on me!" She laughs, then slumps back into the couch, pulling Cindi in closer as she does so, "I don't exactly know when or how this thing even starts, so I might not be the best guide."

Cindi somewhat uncertain if she can be much closer without things getting sexual, but embraces Akari all the same. "Heh. Magic is as magic does... guess we should read on others' experiences of this... er, incredibly narrow thing within already small contingent of people. Furs."

Akari hums, "From what I've seen in that channel, folks are pretty happy to share their own stories with like-minded friends."

Cindi nods: "Yep, that much seems to be true. Something something pretty narrow pool of people we share this weird gift with."

Akari giggles again, "Yeah, not that I'm complaining... the narrowest pool of people is still more friends than I've ever really had in my life."

Cindi nods: "No kidding..." She looks at Akari: "I guess we've sort of lost contact with most everyone we were in school with... not that we ever had that much in common, obvious in hindsight."

Akari sighs, "I never really think much about school anymore, so it's not like that matters. I didn't exactly 'lose' as... burned the phone book for those folks."

Cindi winces slightly, but nods: "...one way to put it, but I don't disagree." She shrugs: "Ah well. New friends to get to know, in a kind of way that's kind of impossible to even have elsewhere."

Akari pulls herself out of that dark train of thought and nods, "New, good, real friends... yeah..."

Cindi smiles and pulls her other arm around Akari's shoulder: "Yup. Should be good, at least our first weekend was so much fun."

Akari hums, "Yeah... it was. I am looking forward to doing that again."

Cindi mm's: "Yeah, me too..." She trails off, just snuggling because she can.

Akari shifts to give Cindi another kiss, snuggling back cozily with a bit of a yawn. "You're very warm~. Wanna take this to bed?"

Cindi giggles: "Maybe~"
