A bit of Making Out, Relaxing, and Tacos Later.

Akari feels good. Better than she has in years, and isn't even afraid who knows it. The doe is practically (and actually) glowing.

She hums, helping finish up the meager clean-up of Cindi's kitchen, "It's good to know that no matter the form, tacos are the perfect food."

Cindi giggles as she wipes the table, noting just how well she can feel any un-evenness of the surface with her paw. "Yes. And mostly not messy too." She looks at her other paw and the sauce stains on it. On a whim, she decides to lick at them "Eh. Mostly."

Akari nods, rinsing off the dishes as she sets them aside for the dishwasher later, "Okay, so only a mostly perfect food. Still very, very good."

She sets the last dish down and claps her hands, "So uh, now what? We've eaten, done quite a bit to get our heart rates going, both intentional and unintentional..." She blushes just a touch. "We should probably cleaned up ourselves, and then I don't know if you'd picked out a movie for tonight or something else?" A post dinner movie to relax after a day's hard work in crafting was the usual order of business on these weekends together.

Cindi hums, ears flicking slightly. "Something roughly in that order, I guess." She pauses for a second before flashing Akari a smile: "And yeah... we did... good cuddling though. Real good."

Akari nods, giggling, "Yeah... Probably not on your list of things to try out tonight... But..." She shrugs, grinning wide.

Cindi skips a breath, then giggles: "Y-yeah, not exactly, no..." She takes the breath she skipped, then steps closer to her... girlfriend? Boyfriend? Furfriend? Whatever.

"D-definitely worth the uh, incidental... experiment."

Akari nods happily, stepping closer to her girl/boy/fur/best friend to take her hands. "Definitely. Definitely definitely. I... I am almost floating right now."

Cindi smirks: "You are certainly glowing, if not floating." She leans closer to give Akari a soft kiss. "We're done eating and cleaning up. Dare we take the shower next?"

Akari giggles as she gives Cindi a peck in return, "Hope your shower big enough to accommodate us."

Cindi nods: "You know it is. Old house, big bathroom, only two of us." She takes Akari's hand, and after doing a last check of everything being put away and turned off in the kitchen, leads her to the hallway and towards the bathroom of the old building.

Akari blushes, reaching up cover her snout, "O-oh! I meant... separately? Because, we're pretty big now a-and um... But I mean, t-together works too..."

Cindi pauses, hesitating. Is she again rushing forward with no heed and threatening to ruin things?

"O-oh. Sorry. Of course... I will just..." Her mind actually catches up to the last part: "... We may be a bit big, but uh... I want to try?" She gives an apologetic smile.

Akari shakes her head, "You have nothing to be sorry for, Cindi." She blinks, expression brightening up once again, "No apologizing for feelings between 'us' anymore. Not for either of us."

Cindi blinks, then nods with a smile: "O-okay. S-" She catches herself: "...let's have a shower. Together. F-find out about wet fur...~"

Akari giggles, "If it's awful at least we'll be miserable together. And if not, then we ge to share in it. G-gosh, Cindi~ I- I'm excited!"

Cindi blinks again, then giggles: "I love you... r logic about this." She opens the door to the big bathroom of the old house, clearly designed a long time ago for a lot of people shuffle in and out of the fairly spartan shower space with little heed to privacy. At least the tiling is still mostly intact, and perhaps more importantly, Jacinto had the shower itself replaced some years ago. It's still a bit bigger and higher than one human living alone would need, but the dictates of the space said it was the best solution. Funny how it now becomes useful for different reasons.

Cindi grabs a couple of towels from the closet... and after a second's afterthought, a few more. "I suspect we're going to use a few towels tonight."

Akari blushes, poking Cindi's side before they enter into the bathroom. It's not a totally unfamiliar sight, but not often where Akari has gone in this house to use the bathroom, typically using the more reasonably sized 'guest bathroom'.

"We may need to invest in a lot of shampoo too, if... well, 'when' we decide to do this again."

Cindi giggles: "Probably. I didn't read too much on the fur care from others, but I have to believe the answer is only 'yes'." She puts the towels on the table on the other side of the decently sized room, then steps towards the shower.

...and she pauses. "Er, I guess... I have no idea what I am doing. But I guess..." She steps forward to get the water coming, and soon a dribble from the ceiling-mounted showerhead starts coming to about half of her as she's not stepped under it yet. "Oh wow that feels weird. Takes like... couple of seconds to feel the water on my skin, so much fluff in the way..."

Akari watches the water start to fall, humming. "Well, I'm just saying, fur care or no, shampoo can feel pretty good. But I guess we can read up on that if we need to."

She reaches a fluffy hand into the water, feeling it soak into her fur, "O-oh! Yeah... like, I feel the water hit, but it takes a moment to really soak in to the skin..."

Cindi gets a bit of a mischievous smile on her snout, then steps into the shower proper... and pulls Akari with her. The two are now both mostly under the falling water.

Akari eeps, crying out in mock-distress, that breaks into giggles, "Ahhh! Cindi! I wasn't ready!"

Cindi laughs at the 'misfortune' of her friend, then leans to kiss her under the falling water: "Mm~."

Akari calms down quickly to lean in, closing her eyes to kiss back. "Mmm... needed this though... feels wonderful."

Cindi giggles: "I'd say sorry, but since I'm not allowed to, I will just say that I always wanted to do that sort of thing~." She mm's at the feeling of water flowing onto her fur.

Akari reaches up to boop Cindi's snout, "Good to hear you've heard me. Even if you do want to get me wet before I'm ready. "I would have forgiven you though, I don't think I can stay mad at someone so cute."

Cindi nods, grinning: "In that sense, we are equal. I guess we are both almost irredeemably cute~." She leans close, slowly getting wet under the warm flow and holding her hands around Akari.

Akari leans into the hug, resting her snout atop Cindi's shoulder. as the water soaks her fur and shines her scales, "We were made that way, hm? Can't deny it when I worked so hard to make it happen."

Cindi mm's. "We did make a lot of this happen. Perhaps tonight's results are a bit of a surprise, but not an unpleasant one..." She squeezes her paws around Akari's back and whispers: "Love you so much."

Akari squeaks, giddy at hearing those words, "Love you too... I'd gladly take on all that misery and fear if this is where it led us."

Cindi hums: "Y-yeah, me too. A-and let's be fair, it wasn't that much misery and fear... or doesn't feel like it was." She rolls her shoulders under the flowing water, just enjoying the feeling both on her fur and in her heart.

Akari: "Maybe not... that first night was pretty scary... and yet all I could think about was how I wish I could be closer to you. Maybe that was all Akari, but..." Akari slowly, deliberately, moves her hand down to Cindi's breast. "Is... this alright?"

Cindi blushes, but doesn't shy away. "O-oh! F-feels so alien... But good." She moves her wet paws up alongside Akari's sides, smiling.

Akari shivers at Cindi's touch, "Y-yeah... maybe it's the water, but every touch feels so warm, like this."

Cindi giggles: "T-that's probably the water. And the sheer novelty of everything about this." Her paws find Akari's shoulders and she pauses to give a bit of a massage there.

Akari ooo's, feeling Cindi's paws knead at her shoulders. "Are you sure it's just the water?"

Her hands run down Cindi's side to her thighs, cupping the canine's rear end. "I don't think the water would feel half as good if you weren't here."

Cindi blushes: "Caution: hot when wet~."

Akari giggles, pressing a little closer, "I guess we both are~."

Cindi smiles as she nuzzles Akari: "G-guess so. There's just something..." Her hands wander down Akari's sides again: "...when we're like this, f-fur goes against the skin... hot damn..."

Akari tilts her head to nuzzle back, "Y-yeah... I can feel everything, and holding you, you're so... soft... I want to hug you as tight as I can and press against you~. It's almost overwhelming."

Cindi swallows and lets out a little gasp: "Y-yeah, no kidding. I don't..." She looks at Akari in the eyes: "...I don't think this is just Cindi and Akari s-sort of thing anymore..."

Akari blinks, pulling back to look back, confusion evident upon her face, "Wh-what do you mean?"

Cindi smiles softly: "...that it's also a Rowan and Jacinto thing. Both sides of us." She leans in for a (wet) kiss.

Akari blinks again, but quickly melts into the kiss, pulling Cindi in to press them close. She looks at her love with wet eyes, clearly just from the shower and nods, "I- I wouldn't want it another way. Th-thank you."

Cindi swallows, and nods after the kiss: "M-me neither. I think... we're..." She frowns with slight bemusement: "You know, gonna stop thinking now." She leans for another kiss as her paws trace along Akari's sides under the flowing water.

Akari hums in agreement, letting thoughts fall away for the moment to simply enjoy the touch and taste of Cindi as she kisses back, her hoof-hands delicately touching along her back.

Cindi leans into the embrace, her hands sliding up and down the smooth, wet fur of Akari's as they melt under the falling water...
