Delia and Gillian's Apartment
Delia pounces onto Gillian's lap.
Gillian eeps! But quickly reaches down to pet Delia.
Delia shifts form while in Gillian's lap, growing in size and shape enough to kiss the Satyr. "Hi, you."
Gillian giggles, continuing to pet Delia, although that petting does shift a bit into a loving caress as she kisses back. "And hi, you."
Delia leans: "How was your day?"
Gillian smiles, "It was... good. a little overwhelming at times, but... but it was good! How about yours?"
Delia shrugs: "Same old, mostly under patient-therapist confideliaty. Nothing I can talk about much, not even with you, you know how it goes."
Gillian nods, "Wasn't too long ago it was me having those talks... I wouldn't want to know, I just want to know how you're doing."
Delia gives Gillian's snout a lick: "Oh, in that case, I'm doing good. Better now that I'm right here."
Gillian giggles, "Oh? Why better? N-no reason in particular?" She's teasing, but also part of her does want a bit of validation. She's been doing so much better, but still has her doubts sometimes.
Delia leans, holding her arms to Gillian's shoulders even as she continues to sit in her lap: "Well you know, something about a loving embrace with a lovely lover who is worth loving a lot. Somewhere along those lines, in that sort of vague territory of things."
Gillian blushes, but shifts position to better hold Delia close, "I uh, had a hunch... but it is nice to hear. Home with you here does make everything feel all right in the world, I admit."
Delia giggles: "At the very least, everything all right in this apartment, with you. I'm not sure we can extend it to the whole world and the world likely wouldn't want it it either." She pauses, pretends to think, then grins: "And I don't want to share anyway."
Gillian kisses Delia's cheek, "My world feels right, then. And you're the only one I want to share this feeling with."
Delia blushes just slightly with her grin: "Sounds like a plan, then." She holds Gillian close: "Don't really wanna leave anyway, so you're stuck."
Gillian nods, nuzzling against Delia's neck, "I can't think of anyone I'd rather be stuck with."
Delia smirks into the nuzzle: "I mean, eventually we might get hungry but that's a problem I'm willing to wait to solve until we are there."
Gillian scrunches her snout, feigning a bit of pain, "Aw, but cooking for you is a problem I love solving!"
Delia licks the snout in question: "Fine, you can do that. But only if you don't let go of me." She giggles.
Gillian giggles in turn, "A challenge, but one I'm willing to try... sometimes it gets so busy at the cafeteria that I swear I'm going to try to train my tail to carry plates anyways, so it'll be good practice!"
Delia smirks: "I can just sit at the table, too. I'm just teasing." She jumps down from Gillian's lap, shifting to all fours as she does: "I don't want my hair in the food anymore than you do." She starts walking towards the kitchen, winking at Gillian over her shoulder.
Gillian shakes her head, then gets up to follow Delia into the kitchen, "Oh, fair I suppose. It would have been a way to combine my two greatest loves. Cooking for you is just as good as cooking with you, though."
Delia giggles: "If you think you're up for you it, you know you don't need to ask to pick me up~"
