NESSETH'S HOUSE - AFTERNOON

Vix hums as she preps ingredients in Nesseth's kitchen. She also happens to be wearing only an apron, for anyone who happens to be looking her way~
Erika is coincidentally looking that way as she leans on the wall on the other side of the kitchen, not helping so much as just keeping company for the busy cat. The okapi is only sporting her loincloth, her top having been forgotten somewhere along the way. "So, Vix, what are we making today anyway?"
Vix giggles as she chops some vegetables and tosses them in a bowl. "I'm thinkin' salad and grilled meat. Just keeping it simple for lunch~"
Erika shrugs: "For a given value of 'lunch', but eh, who's counting? Lunch or dinner, it's food."
Vix chuckles. "Oh? What do you usually have for lunch?"
Nesseth 's voice calls out from the pantry as he goes about collecting stuff for Vix to put to use in whatever she's cooking. "What other seasonings do you need for the meats, Vix?"
Erika hums, lifting a hand to her chin: "Something or other from the garden. If I remember to eat."
Vix: Oh! Grab the cayenne pepper powder, Ness. That'll give it some kick~"
Nesseth goes about gathering up the requested spices, then comes back out with a few small jars in his arms. He smiles at Vix and Erika as he moves towards the counter. "Good thing you're spending so much time with us, Erika. We'll make sure you get good food regularly."
Erika giggles, sticking her tongue out at the lizard: "Am I that bad? Don't answer that."
Vix seasons the prepped meat on the side and tosses it with flour. She puts on a playful old lady voice. "Oh, you're skin and bones, Erika~!"
Erika turns to stick her tongue at Vix: "Oh you're one to say!"
Nesseth chuckles as he sets the spices down in easy reach for Vix to work her magic with the food prep. "You're both fit, but it just shows in different ways. Still, having good meals is still healthy to do."
Erika humphs, though she's still smiling: "I do eat regularly. Well. Sort of. Often? Most of the time. Unless I forget."
Vix drops the meat strips into a sizzling frying pan one by one. "Hey, if you eat more, maybe your butt will get bigger. Then we all win~"
Nesseth gives Vix a kiss on the cheek, then goes to give Erika a kiss on the nose. "You both have beautiful butts already, though."
Erika giggles, then kisses Nesseth back: "Flattery will get you everywhere~."
Vix shakes her butt a bit as she continues to fry up the meat. "Just a couple more minutes~"
Erika glances at Vix: "Of flattery?"
Vix winks. "You can keep going if you want~"
Nesseth laughs a bit and swings his tail around to give Vix's rear a little, playful smack while he and Erika watch her work. "I don't really need much encouragement to continue flattering you two, and you know it~"
Erika looks at Nesseth solemnly: "I am not sure if I can take several minutes of that, but I promise that I will do my best."
Vix wiggles playfully. "Almost done~. How about you pick out some drinks~?"
Nesseth chuckles and nods at Vix's suggestion. As he steps away towards the ice box, he gives Erika's rear a teasing little pinch. "Sure thing. What are you two feeling like for today?"
Erika shrugs: "Surprise me. As long as it's cold."
Vix hums. "I'll have some fruit juice~"
Nesseth wiggles his tail a bit as he searches for some drinks for the three. It doesn't take more than a few seconds, and he extracts some drinks, which he takes over to the dining table. "Alrighty. Drinks are ready~"
Erika picks up her drink: "You are the greatest. At least, when you serve us drinks~."
Vix takes the food off the heat and taste tests a bit of it. "Mmm, and when he serves us in other ways~"
Nesseth chuckles as he sticks his tongue out at Erika with a bit of a smile. "You know I try to give you all the best drinks service ever~"
Erika giggles: "Best drink service lizard lieutenant. It's official."
Vix soon carries a big plate of fried meat and a big bowl of salad to the table. "Agreed~"
Nesseth takes a deep breath of the food's aroma and goes to pull out chairs for Erika and Vix so the three can dig in. "You know I'm always at your service, you two~"
Erika digs in into the salad as she sits down, smiling: "That makes you the bestest~." She glances at Vix: "Or you. I'm not sure how that works and I don't care~..."
Vix enjoys a light, yet hearty meal with lovely company, along with whatever might happen next~
