MARKETPLACE - AFTERNOON

Jennica walks around the marketplace, the kobold clearly searching for someone. She's in a... carefully optimistic mood, about something she should have done a while ago but then got distracted by her craft... then her worry... then her friend... lover? Something like that. She swivels her head around, trying to see if Strix is in any of the usual spots.
Strix is indeed, in one of his usual spots, that nice little corner that's jussst out of the way to make his stall feel like it's some sort of 'hidden gem', while still in reality being in full sight of all the major thoroughfares. At the moment, he's showing off some sort of gadget that appear to be making ice-cream. While he's not changed his style too much, he's at least becoming aware of how to exploit trends. All for the goals of making whatever he actually wants to make.
Jennica looks at Strix showing off for a moment, before gathering her courage and stepping closer. "H-hey, Strix. Um, hi. How uh, how are you doing?"
Strix: "Strix doing business well" He looks over to the voice, and pauses "Not see other kobolds here. Especially other kobolds who know Strix's name" There's a moment where he considers all the logical reasons why that would be...and it looks like he's about to bolt.
Jennica winces at Strix's reaction: "O-oh! Sorry." She hesitates, wringing her hands together: "I just... well um, that potion it..." She looks down at herself: "...well."
Strix was already a good few feet away, and was prepping some sort of small sphere based defense tool, when he pauses again, man, he's curious, so slows "Strix know cryptic comments Strix's weakpoint!" For just a moment "Strix won't fall for that!"
Jennica blinks, then shakes her head quickly: "Oh no no no! I'm not blaming you." She blinks, connecting one more thing in her head: "O-oh! Sorry. I'm Jennica." She holds her hand way up above her: "Y-you know, the cow?" Dang that feels weird to say.
Strix actually pauses fully there! "Wait.." He looks to Jennica "Jennica?" He's deeply confused a moment "Potion..." There's another few long moments of mental calculation as he returns to the stall "Ooooooh" He looks to Jennica again "...Oops"
Jennica gives a sheepish grin: "Y-yeah, um. Sorry. I think I used it wrong, i-in my worry."
Strix: "Uhh...well..potion was potion of health. May have cured you of condition of NotBeingaKobold-itis"
Jennica nods, humming: "Y-yeah, think it did." She leans on the stall, giving a weak smile: "...it did. Can we do anything about it?"
Strix: "Uhhhhhhh" Strix thinks about it "Maybe? Strix made potion on potion kick, Strix not really on potion kick right now..." He reaches into his cart, and pulls out some ice-cream "Strappleberry flavour. Strappleberry not real fruit, but Strix make flavour anyway" He shakes his head. Focus! "Ah..Strix not see reason why not. Strix just have to make potion to return Jennica way she was, then Strix mix that with potion to make sure Jennica not forget everything.....Strix think this perfectly safe idea"
Jennica blinks, then gives Strix a look: "Are you... are you sure? Do you need my help, since I sorta caused this?"
Strix: "Well..uh, Strix could try taking help, but Strix usually work alone. Strix not against it, but Strix not good at explaining ideas to other people..." He seems conflicted about the whole thing!
Jennica tilts her head, looking first at Strix then at the stall: "Hmm... I guess so." She gives a smile: "W-well, if you need me, I will be around?"
Strix: "Yes! Very good!" He nods a few times "Strix could use cow based uh..part? Blood best idea..make sure that Strix know what Strix is aiming for..maybe hair, Strix not sure if it matters"
Jennica looks down at herself: "Well, short on hair right now, but..." She blinks, realizing: "...'course home still has plenty. That works, right?"
Strix: "Yes! Probably! Strix exploring new ideas, nothing is ever sure!" Which is exciting, right. Right!...Right?
Jennica nodnods, getting excited at the prospect herself: "Y-yeah, that should work! I will, uh, get you that." She picks up one of her fiddly trinkets - ones she forever 'crafts' but that never seem to finish - and starts, yes, fiddling with it. "Should work."
Strix: "Great! Strix will work on what plans Strix has. Strix has idea already! How long ago was Jennica Cow?"
Jennica hums: "Two... three-ish weeks?"
Strix: "Good! Good! Strix will aim for that then..."
Jennica: "...aim for that? What do you mean?"
Strix: "Well, Strix needs to return Jennica to cow. Right? So Strix needs to know how long ago Jennica was cow. Otherwise Strix might go too far!"
Strix: "Unless Jennica not mind Strix going too far?"
Jennica blinks confusedly, then just nods: "Ah. Okay. Probably? I think get you."
Strix: "Good! Strix think this will work out! Does Jennica have any other problems?"
Jennica shakes her head, then smiles brightly: "No... not really right now? I think I'm good. ...yeah, I'm good."
Strix: "Great!" Strix motions vaguely "Strix need to return to workshop, to start trying to make plans..."
Jennica nodnods enthusiastically: "O-oh, yeah! I'll go fetch the, uh, hair!" She starts heading back to her and Emmeline's apartment, excited for this whole prospect and at least somewhat too about returning to her own form...
