SOMEWHERE - MIDDAY

----------------------------------------------

Cavro huffs, holding the somewhat bland tasting mushroom up and looking at his bite mark, nose slightly scrunched as he quickly chews and swallows it. He glances toward Erika, giving the fungi a little shake. "I I I think I am going to appreciate salt and and and pepper a lot more when we get home..."

Erika shrugs, giving a bit of a smile: "Maybe. Dunno." She munches a similar mushroom without seeming to mind the blandness at all. "We did good travel yesterday... let's just, uh, hope it was in the right direction..."

Cavro chuckles nervously, looking away from her toward the direction they'd been heading. "I mean... Hmh. The the the thoughts I've had on it... I I I kind of want to get them out, but I don't want to worry you, either..." He looks down at the fungi, taking another big bite, hoping to just sate his hunger.

Erika looks at Cavro curiously: "Thoughts on what? Besides where we are and, uh... whatever actually happened."

Cavro shakes his head at the second point, grunting. "I have no no no idea on why we're not home... But I I I think... Well, if we're still on Aephix, then then then just going North is probably our best bet. If we are on Aephix." He lets another quiet grunt out, finishing his mushroom.

Erika glances up: "W-well... the stars seemed pretty similar last night. The dreams were less familiar, though. Had one where I was home, but like all sticking into my garden and making Nesseth worry. Don't recall what for though." She hums for a second, then shrugs with a lopsided smile.

Cavro blinks, thinking for a moment. "That is a a a pretty specific thing to dream about. Not the garden, mind, that that that makes sense. Like you want to be home, of of of course. Maybe... Worrying Nesseth was part of the stress too?" He seems to be keeping from looking at Erika.

Erika shrugs again as she starts leading the way North... or her best approximation of North, anyway. "Just a dream. Let's get going..."

Cavro nods, plodding along beside her after a moment of hesitation. "I I I know that sometimes I dream about work when I I I have a lot of work piled up... Like my brain just just just can't get off of it, but it's always old work. You know?"

Erika nods as she surveys their surroundings, not fond of what little she knows of the predator-shaped wildlife in Aephix. "Dreams are weird. Or at least, mine are. Probably yours too."

Cavro nods, noticing that she's looking about. "Y-yeah... I I I can't remember the last time I didn't dream of work... Well... I didn't while you you you were changed." He pauses for a long period. "Those were were were some weird dreams..."

Erika turns to glance at Cavro: "What did you dream about then?" She's clearly on the edge more than she usually is, now that it's become harshly obvious this all isn't a dream.

Cavro looks about them, stepping around a tree as it passes between them. When he's back in view, he's clearly blushing slightly. "Well sometimes it was nightmares... Of you or I being changed and sent sent sent away from town... Or chased by hunters..." He shakes his head of that, glancing toward her. "Some were nicer, just dreaming of you as as as yourself again."

Erika looks at Cavro with a smile: "W-well... at least the nicer ones came true there." She looks about, frowning: "Not sure what's the idea with this non-dream, though."

Cavro chuckles nervously again, shrugging as he looks ahead to keep from tripping. A cool breeze through the leaves above sends a shiver down his spine, despite it not penetrating to the ground. "Well... I I I don't think that I was worrying about work when when when I dreamed about being at work last night... Or, at least I I I think I did? It's weird... Like foggy. But clear? Like I I I definitely know I dreamed something."

Erika shrugs as she continues forward through the underbrush: "It's hard to say. I wanna say it's related to why we're here, but... who knows?" She pauses as she bends a branch, and sighs: "I just want to get home."

Cavro stops a moment after she does, looking toward her. With a bit of a huff, he steps to her and hugs her tight. "We'll get get get there..."

Erika is momentarily startled out of her thoughts by the hug. She then hugs back, smiling: "We will. Uh, somehow. Trying to keep direction in this underbrush is hard."

Cavro nods, unintentionally nuzzling against her before he lets go of the hug. "Yeah... I I I don't think I want to to to try climbing a a a tree without pants on, though, sorry..." He looks toward the sun, humming. "It's close to noon, I I I think... That doesn't help."

Erika glances up and frowns: "Nope. But we're still better off moving than staying still, least 'til we can make a fire." She pauses, turning to Cavro: "...can we make a fire? Last night was very cold."

Cavro looks to her, a blush slowly growing. "I um... I I I would like to, but I I I never learned how with anything less than than than flint... How do do do you normally start one when you go out?"

Erika blinks, then gives a blushing smile: "I uh... don't."

Cavro chuckles a bit nervously again, a growing habit since their adventure started. "Ah... Well..." He rubs his hands up and down his arms, thinking about the cold making him feel a bit of chill again.

Erika gives Cavro a bit of a sad look, but it's quickly replaced by a smile: "W-we'll figure that out tonight."

Cavro smiles as well, nodding, though his eyes still show his worry. "Yeah... If if if we run across some flint and a feral iron file, that would would would be nice." He rubs his hands together.

Erika lets out a small nervous giggle before focusing back on mostly listening and watching their surroundings. She's not sure what lurks here and she's not very intent on finding out.

Cavro watches Erika for a moment, sighing quietly to himself as he gives a cursory glance around before turning to continue on their way. "If we we we keep moving, maybe we can find a nice clearing to see the stars from tonight? Or... Something tastier than mushrooms?" Really he just wants to keep moving because Erika's worried watch of their surroundings makes him a little more nervous when they're stopped.

Erika frowns, shaking her head: "Nice open clearings... not good. Easy for something big and teethy to spot us. Better to find a cliff, cave or some nook to make our fire." She pauses as she steps forward: "If we can."

Cavro looks to her. "Oh... oh that makes sense, yeah you you you're right." As they push through the next couple bushes, his ears perk up. "Do... Do you hear running water?"

Erika flicks her ears, and nods with a smile: "...yep!" She pauses: "...not that it tells us much direction-wise, but at least it's running water." She looks at her decidedly still-naked self: "...also too bad we have nothing to carry water in."

Cavro looks at Erika's naked self as well, then at himself. "Well... Our stomachs... But could we we we follow it? Or... Well I I I guess predators have to drink too?"

Erika frowns, nodding: "...but which way would we follow it?"

Cavro shrugs as the narrow stream shows, trickling through the trees in a shallow, rocky path. "Well it it it has to end somewhere, right? Maybe a lake or the sea?"

Erika nods, humming: "Yep, but... which body of water? Does it take us closer or further?"

Cavro grunts, looking downstream, then upstream. "I... Don't know, of of of course." With a sigh, he looks at the cool, clear looking water. "I I I just want some direction..."

Erika frowns, stepping next to the stream and splashing her face with water. She doesn't have a good or even a funny reply to Cavro, so she says nothing for the moment.

Cavro watches around as Erika splashes herself, kneeling after a few moments to take a drink. At least the water tastes clean and refreshing, the badger not realizing how thirsty he'd gotten. After a couple extra greedy gulps, he straightens up and looks upstream again, hesitating before nudging Erika's shoulder, his eyes on some of the bushes some forty meters upstream as they shake and begin to part...

Erika blinks and looks up, stiffening upon seeing the moving bushes. She doesn't get up, waiting to see what - if anything - comes out.

Cavro grips her shoulder gently, shaking ever so slightly as the nervous badger gets more nervous. After what feels like an age of staring at the bushes, a narrow snout pokes through... Followed by the rest of a small deer's head as it cautiously approaches the stream, not seeming to see the two misplaced, naked bipeds downstream from it.

Erika lets out a sigh of relief after being still for that long moment. She gets up, sending the deer skittering away almost instantly. "Sorry!"

Cavro can't help but let out a laugh as Erika apologizes to the spooked deer, standing up next to her. "I I I guess we don't have to be afraid of every little noise..."

Erika blinks and smiles a bit sheepishly: "Uh, maybe not..."

Cavro smiles at her before looking down the stream. "Well... I I I still trust your instincts so... Let's just keep going North... You're probably right, we don't know where the stream could could could go... And it probably doesn't just attract deer."

Erika glances where the deer scampered off to, and nods slowly: "Yeah... probably bigger things too. Toothy things." She looks forward to what she thinks is vaguely 'North', takes a deep breath, and jumps over the small stream. "Best not linger."

Cavro nods, carefully navigating over the washed stones as he follows along with her. "Lead the the the way, captain!"

Erika blinks and turns to Cavro: "Captain? Last I checked, I don't have feathers." She pauses and glances at herself: "...I hope."

Cavro chuckles, smiling at her, happy to have a bit of a break from the cloud of worry. It manages to keep threatening wisps overhead. "Well... I I I mean if you did suddenly grow wings, I I I might say we don't worry about them until we've flown home."

Erika smirks at her lover: "Assuming I could carry all those hammerin' arms just like that."

Cavro blushes, chuckling a bit. He rubs his arm, partly out of reflex, but also because he's a bit chilled still. "All the the the work you do in the garden, I'm sure you you you wouldn't have a problem..." He doesn't hide his glance down, chuckling. "Especially if if if your wings would be as as as strong as your thighs~"

Erika blushes a bit and focuses her efforts on moving forward: "...u-uhm. R-right. That." Her tail twitches slightly as she moves, clearly having heard the compliment such as it was.

Cavro blinks, scratching the back of his neck. "S-sorry..." He sighs, opting to clam up until addressed again.

Erika keeps going forward for a moment, before pausing: "...sorry for what?"

Cavro shakes his head. "It's not the the the time for thinking like that... Sorry, I'll try to keep my mind on getting home."

Erika looks at Cavro for a couple of seconds, both wanting to dive onto him and knowing it'd be a really dumb idea right now. In the end she turns around, sighing quietly under her breath after she's done so.

Cavro averts his eyes to the ground ahead of him, at least having something to distract his eyes. He's also currently glad he's walking slightly behind her and has plenty of chest-high bushes to push through. He tries for another layer of distraction; "Oh! You you you started describing the leaves of of of edible roots yesterday. What others should I I I keep an eye out for?"

Erika pauses, also glad for the distraction: "Well, in a forest like this, anything that's not directly green, like berries or even fruit, is worth mentioning - I can then tell at least if I know it being edible."

Cavro nods, paying attention to her words. "And it it it was... White berries that are bad?"

Erika nods, her voice lightening as she's thinking about her other passion: "Among others, yeah. Don't touch any before I get a look, though."

Cavro chuckles, shrugging as he pushes a branch aside, grunting as it's tiny thorns poke at his work-toughened palm. "Of course. I I I think I recall, if the birds aren't eating them, we we we shouldn't either, right?"

Erika nods slowly as she ducks down under some branches: "That's a pretty decent guideline. Not entirely foolproof, but we should be quite safe with that idea in mind."

Cavro grins at her as they pass a dividing tree. "You you you have been teaching me well..." he clears his throat, turning forward again with a blush. "A-about the the the plants. I mean."

Erika blushes a bit at the comment: "...we should also keep an eye towards any sapling ferns, those are generally at least filling if not tasty."

Cavro scratches his chin, nodding. "Sapling ferns, okay..." He looks to his right, scanning for anything she'd mentioned. He spots a mushroom that looks almost identical to the ones they'd been eating for breakfast. He takes a slight detour to pick a couple from the tree trunk, handing one to Erika. They've got a bit of a funky smell compared to the others, but the badger hasn't noticed as he considers taking a bite.

Erika sniffs at the mushroom, pauses, then slaps the mushroom rather hastily out of the badger's hands before tossing her own after it: "D-don't!"

Cavro blinks, watching the fungi soar, then split apart against a tree root. He looks sheepishly at Erika, rubbing his hand slightly. "That was a a a bad one? But it looked just like the other ones..."

Erika winces at her own violent reaction, but nods: "Y-yeah. Um. Makes you green. Very green."

Cavro hesitates, nodding. "Oh... Okay, I I I don't want to be green. How could you tell it it it wasn't good?" He looks toward them before beginning to move on again.

Erika sighs, shuddering slightly as she walks: "They're different color, and smell way worse. It's a different species of the same thing, though."

Cavro nods again, smelling his palm and catching the leftover from it. "Okay see... I I I was initially glad to be out here with with with you because... Well, it's you. But now... I probably wouldn't have made it to to to that stream without you here, Erika."

Erika glances at Cavro with just the smallest smile and a blush: "T-thank you."

Cavro gives her a one-armed hug around the waist when the foliage allows it, smiling up at her. "You're wonderful after all, and and and really proving it out here~"

Erika hums softly: "I'm not much. Just know what to not eat."

Cavro chuckles quietly, nodding. "One of the the the most important things we need to to to know, though."

Erika nods, stepping forward again: "For the moment."

Cavro shrugs, continuing on again. "If if if you say so."

Erika keeps looking about, but she's smiling perhaps a bit more than earlier: "Well, right now we got to. Know, I mean."

Cavro looks ahead of them, seeing no end to the forest they're wandering through, the stream behind offering the closest thing to a break. He sighs, smiling through his worry as Erika leads the way along, their direction only slightly to the West of North for now. Where is North-West taking them? Who knows?

THE THIRSTY MINNOW - EVENING

----------------------------------------------

Nesseth sits at the bar counter, having ordered a drink and a small meal. The wait isn't that long before his order arrives, and he immediately starts eating, his drink sitting close at hand for the moment.

Narrator: All is well in the Thirsty Minnow. A quiet night. Relaxing. Peaceful. Stress is but a thing of the past. Nothing unusual here. Well, not until Nesseth reaches for his drink, anyway. . . When Nesseth tries to grab hold of his glass, it trembles and slides away from his hand a short distance!

Nesseth looks up when his hand closes around thin air. He blinks, then reaches a bit further for his glass, thinking he'd just misjudged the distance while focusing on his food.

Narrator: Reacting to Nesseth's hand, the glass moves again! This time, instead of trembling, the glass moves up onto one rim of it's base, doing a little small hop. Then, it circles around the edge to the other rim, hops again and repeats the process in a cheery little dance. Is it. . .Taunting Nesseth?

Nesseth blinks again, his brow furrowing as the glass bounces around just out of his grasp. He makes stronger and stronger attempts to grab it as it dodges about.

Narrator: The glass keeps expertly dodging out of the way of Nesseth's grasp, sliding back and forth along the counter. It seems like approaching the glass from only one side isn't going to cut it. . .

Nesseth hums thoughtfully as his hand pulls back a bit. He grabs his plate and stands up, glancing around a little as he waits for the glass to settle down.

Narrator: The glass leans onto it's back rim, relative to Nesseth of course. It then hops up and down in a rhythmic fashion, almost as if the glass itself is laughing heartily at Nesseth.

Nesseth turns quickly, his tail swiping up and over the bar counter. As it moves, it curls in an attempt to catch the glass by surprise, regardless of how much water spills out from momentum.

Narrator: The glass shakes in a panic! Lacking the speed to outrun the tail, what will the glass do? How will it escape Nesseth this time? In desperation the glass. . .Levitates into the air, over the tail! At this point, an audible, yet stifled giggle emits from above Nesseth. Lazing atop the rafters, precariously balanced, lies a small white kitty, with an outstretched digit pointing at the glass. She has a large, cheshire-cat like grin creeping across her face.

Nesseth looks around at his tail to see if he caught the glass, only to sigh when he sees he didn't catch it. When he hears the giggle, however, he looks up at the rafters. "...Okay, so I'm not going insane, at least."

Teis quickly silences her laughter, though is only successful in doing so for about two seconds, given she's now being looked at by Nesseth. Then, she breaks out into full on laughter. "Hahaha! The look on your face! Aaah." Teis gleefully, giddily, giggles and gloats. She lets the glass gently back down on the counter. She ends her spell, her extended digit retracting. She then moves her hand over to a tall glass sitting on the rafters with her filled with a vibrant orange fluid, taking a sip from it.

Nesseth sets his plate back down and chuckles. "Well, you had me going for a bit, there." He tilts his head curiously, "Are you new in town, or something? I don't think I've seen you around before now."

Teis: "Ooh yess. Quite new. Sssis and I moved in. . .I don't know. A few days ago." The kitty slurs her words, waving back and forth somewhat. Who would've thought that the tiny critter was a lightweight! Is she even old enough to drink. . .?

Nesseth raises an eyebrow a bit at the slurring of the feline's words. "Wasted no time settling in, I see. Are you sure you're alright up there?"

Teis: "Mossst cccertainly." Teis replies. "Why wouldn't I be?" Teis tilts her head at Nesseth. . .Which causes her entire body to start leaning to one side of the rafters. . .

Nesseth braces, preparing to move to catch Teis if she falls when he sees her wobble precariously. "Balance issues from drinking..."

Teis: "Whaaat? Pssh. I'm fffine. I could ssssleep up here and not f-aawwwoooah!" Teis rotates off the rafters, falling off. Yet, despite her state, she rotates her body perfectly around on the air to end up in Nesseth's arms with her hands and feet pointing at the floor, as one might expect a cat would. BUT WHAT ABOUT HER DRINK? SURELY NESSETH IS GOING TO BE DOUSED IN LIQUID AND SUBSEQUENTLY GLASSED? But no such thing happens. Looking up reveals that the glass Teis was holding is levitating in the air, slowly drifting towards Teis. "Ooooh. Yeeah. Maybe you had a good point there, missster." Teis breaks out into a giggling fit.

Nesseth moves to catch Teis as she drops down from the rafters, obviously not caring if he gets doused and bonked on the head. It's his job to make sure people are safe regardless. "Oof...! I know you're a cat and all that, but... might not be a bad idea for you to get yourself to your room, miss. You might need to sleep this off."

Teis pokes her tongue out at Nesseth briefly, then giggles once more. She doesn't make a move to leave Nesseth's arms. She begins purring lightly. "Nonsssense. Why would I sssleeeep off thisss new fabuloussssssenation?" She plucks her drink out of the air, sipping more from it while still in Nesseth's arms, uncaring about her position.

Nesseth hums as he looks around, then walks over to the bar, where he sets Teis down on one of the stools next to his, just so he can keep an eye on the feline. "I take it you've never tried alcohol before, miss? You might not want to overindulge..."

Teis goes with the flow, accepting the stool. She continues purring. "Firssst time. Everyone sssso worried. Teissss not underssstand what the fusssss is about."

Nesseth chuckles a bit as he takes a sip of his drink. "Well, you'll see when you wake up tomorrow morning. I'll just say that the headache gets worse, the more you drink tonight."

Teis: "Psssh. Headachesss can't hurt me." Teis confidently claims. "But you're nice. I'm Teis. What'ss your name, Mister?"

Nesseth smiles at Teis. "Good to meet you, Teis. I'm Nesseth." He chuckles again as he starts eating through his meal again, "Not much else to worry about other than the headaches, really."

Teis purrs some more. "Teis like Respite so far. Much different from where I'm from. And many interesting people. Are you interesting?"

Nesseth shrugs, smiling a little self-consciously. "Depends on what you consider interesting, I guess. I'm a former Explorers Guild member, and I work around town as a guard and hunter, so..."

Teis: "Ooh. Do tell." Teis leans closers to Nesseth, still with that playful grin.

Nesseth shrugs a bit, still smiling. "Not much to really say about me, I guess. Some days I'm just out and about around town, making sure everyone stays safe, and other days I'm out beyond the walls, hunting to help keep the butchers' shops stocked."

Teis: "Oh." Teis' grin disappears. "Well. . .That's boring!" How rude!

Nesseth laughs, nodding. "Most of the time, yeah. Once in a while, we'll get some kind of excitement, though."

Teis: "The good kind?" Teis questions, with a tilt of her head.

Nesseth hums thoughtfully. "Well, let's see... recently, we had the town's generator explode, though the new engineer got it up and running better than ever... we've also had some troubles with bandits out on the road between here and Bairnell's Foothold... we've got some interesting things happening here and there."

Teis: "Oh. Yeah. I remember being told something about the generator. . .It delayed our move out here." Teis replies. "Are. . .Bandits usually an issue?"

Nesseth shakes his head. "No. In fact, the most recent report was maybe our... second or third report in years. It's usually really quiet out here on the road, so it makes travel pretty safe."

Teis: "Oh. Good." Teis nods. "Bandits are no fun."

Nesseth nods in agreement. "Yeah, they're not fun to deal with at all. Still, Respite is nice and safe, nowadays, so you don't have to worry about anything."

Teis hums a little. "What's the smartest criminal you've come across? The dumbest? The funniest?" Teis questions, rapid-fire.

Nesseth hums as he processes the questions. "The dumbest and funniest go hand in hand, I think. There was this poor sod back in Bairnell some years ago who tried stealing some foodstuffs from the Explorers Guild caravan I was a part of, and he tried to pass it off as though he cooked it all. It got a good laugh out of all of us, and we let him have some of the food, but we still reported him to the guards." He pauses, "As for the smartest... hard to say at the moment. I might be dealing with something of the sort at the moment."

Teis visibly sours in mood at mention of the food thief, her purring stopping all of a sudden. ". . .Oh." She does slightly improve at the mention of letting him have some of the food, but overall. . . Teis barely even registers the second thing Nesseth says.

Nesseth shrugs. "Yeah, still trying to sort out that other thing, but I'm not even sure what to make of it all yet. Should make for an interesting story, though, depending on how things go."

Teis sighs to herself, staring at her drink idly for a moment, allowing Nesseth's words to simply wash through her. She bites the inside corner of her lower lip. She tries to bounce back, though is only partially successful. "O-oh. Are you allowed to talk about it?" Teis questions, her tone conveying her sadness.

Nesseth tilts his head thoughtfully, then nods. "I guess I can, just not in detail. There are a couple of folks in town that have been acting a bit out of the ordinary... well, a lot out of the ordinary, and I'm trying to see what's going on there. Don't quote me on it, and don't feel worried or anything, but I'm suspecting they might be doppelgangers."

Teis: The mention of doppelgangers perks Teis' interest enough to snap her out of her sad stupor. ". . .Oh! Really? I've read about those! I've love to study them first-hand! Please, tell me more!" Teis energetically requests. "So much to learn!"

Nesseth gives Teis a curious look. "You've read about doppelgangers?" He raises an eyebrow, "And you want to study them first-hand? Huh... tell you what, you give me any info you can about them, and if these two are actually doppelgangers you can study them once we have them in custody."

Teis: "I sure have! I went to The Arcane Academy of Kiroth!" Teis excitedly boasts. "I learned about all manner of magical things there. I have my exam notes back at the estate if you're interested. . .?"

Nesseth hums as he takes another bite of his nearly-clean plate of food. "Mmh... academic notes, eh? Might be worth looking at them for ideas, especially if they give me a good idea of how to make sure they're doppelgangers." He smiles, "If you'd be willing to share the knowledge, I'd like to see your notes, sure."

Teis: "Yeah, I'm willing to share! Though I'll warn you, magical beasts was one of my weaker classes. I don't want you like, arresting someone innocent, okay? But maybe I can accompany you? To make sure? Yeah?" Teis questions.

Nesseth chuckles a bit. "We can ask my captain if you can accompany us once we think it's time to make an arrest. Like I said, this is just a suspicion, so the more info I have, the more likely we can figure if they're actually doppelgangers or not."

Teis: "Well. So long as you promise. I'd feel awful if I was responsible for someone who didn't deserve it. . ." Teis skews her lip.

Nesseth nods. "We do our best to make sure the person or people being arrested are actually guilty before we do anything."

Teis: "Promise me!" Teis abruptly demands. "Or no notes!"

Nesseth dips into a bow. "Promise, Teis. We won't accidentally arrest someone innocent."

Teis nods. "Satisfactory. You can come to our estate whenever. I'll make sure our staff knows you're coming. I might be busy in the lab when you arrive. . .So."

Nesseth smiles. "If you're busy, I'll just wait until you're finished whatever you're doing." He tilts his head a bit, "Which place are you living at?"

Teis: "You might be waiting a while then!" Teis warns. "I live up at the Bouquet estate. Uuuuh. What address was that. . ." Teis thinks to herself.

Nesseth chuckles. "I don't mind waiting. I tend to pull patrol duty on the walls, so waiting isn't exactly hard for me."

Teis: "If you insist." Teis giggles to herself. "I think I should head back, now that I think about it. . .Sis is probably worried. She's been so over-protective since we arrived. As if I can't handle myself!"

Nesseth looks at Teis for a few moments. "I'm guessing you seem pretty balanced now. You're good to make the walk back, then?"

Teis isn't exactly stable. Still drunk. But perhaps adapted. Sort of. "Teis is always good to walk!" She giggles.

Nesseth hums, then nods after a moment. "If you're sure, Teis. I'd rather just not find you passed out on the road to your place tomorrow morning while I'm on patrol."

Teis: "I appreciate your concern, though I will be alright." Teis nods, picking up her drink and slamming back the rest of it quickly, which causes her to start coughing. "Ooookay! That's a little bit too much at once!" Teis tries to make light of it. "Anyway, goodnight, Mr. Hunter Guard Nesseth!" Teis stands.

Nesseth chuckles and waves as Teis stands up, just watching her to make sure she's stable enough to make her way out of the bar, at least. "Just take it easy, Teis. Have yourself a good night."

Teis is... Able to at least get outside, at the very least. Stable is perhaps not the word to use, however.

Nesseth hums thoughtfully, standing up surreptitiously and making his way to the door to watch the drunken feline to make sure she doesn't trip over on the way down the lane. He sighs a bit, wondering if he should at least run a quick patrol in that direction after he's done at the Minnow, just to make sure she's fine.
