Delia and Gillian's Apartment - Afternoon
Delia pounces Gillian, tail wagging~
Gillian giggles, catching Delia to hug tight
Delia shifts back to anthro form, almost melting into the embrace. "Miss me? ~"
Gillian gives the corgi a kiss, "Always, of course."
Delia grins, her nakedness after shapeshifting not exactly an issue anymore. "Weekend away from you is at least half an eternity, objectively speaking."
Gillian blushes, "It's manageable... I uh, kept busy cleaning the apartment while you were gone. But my thoughts were always with you as well."
Delia blinks and looks around at the perfectly spotless apartment. "Oh. Wow. Very busy." She turns back to kiss the Satyr.
Gillian kisses back, blushing further. She looks over the apartment and scratches her neck awkwardly, "W-well I uh, needed to keep busy somehow. You can take the maid out of the manor, but..."
Delia giggles, her tail swishing: "I think it's adorable that you need that much distraction~"
Gillian watches Delia's tail and tries to wiggle her own, which mostly looks like nothing but a butt wiggle, "Well I didn't have anything else to do this weekend but wait... and you know I'm not much for going out on my own."
Delia smiles: "Maybe you should. See people that aren't me." She laughs: "Look at me telling you to go out, being at least as introverted myself. Such a 'worldly traveler' when I went next town over to see if my Dad still breathes."
Gillian chuckles, "Yeah, fair. I mean, I think I get along well enough with a lot of the others at Ad-Hoc, right? A bit of socializing there isn't so bad... Still... it's a whole thing, you know..." She pauses, letting a bit of silence rest between them as she just holds Delia close. "... how did it go?"
Delia sighs slightly: "Dad's still not like suuuuper happy to see me like I am, but at least accepts that I can't become completely human again. We had an awkward day and a half and then I just explored the city for the rest of it once my head couldn't take it anymore." She shrugs. "Eh."
Gillian smiles supportively, giving Delia a quick squeeze. "So... a little better than you'd feared... if not as good as you'd hoped. Still... progress... maybe someday he'll be ready to meet me? Or... maybe not. But I'll support you, regardless."
Delia gives Gillian a look: "Yeah... maybe one day. Possibly decades from now." She shakes her head: "Nevermind that. I'm home, and I wanna veg a comfort movie with you."
Gillian nods, "Of course. I want nothing more than to catch up on missed snuggling."
Delia nods sagely: "We have a quota to fill, clearly." She leans closer to the Satyr to prove her point.
Gillian giggles, and lifts her girlfriend up, carrying her over to the couch with a bit of effort, but not much struggle. "Well, I would never wish to deprive you. And you know how I feel about completeing tasks and fulfilling quotas!"
Delia giggles in turn as she's lifted up. Usually this would make her feel a bit undignified, but when it's her girlfriend it's a different kind of feeling. Once she's standing on the couch, she crosses her arms: "Yeah I know. Really I should be calling you out on that, but for this particular issue I will let it slide." She sticks her tongue out with a grin.
Gillian settles down on the couch, lifting her skirt to let it settle properly as she sits, grinning a bit guiltily. "Thank you for letting it go this one time, love~. I'm still trying to not get overly focused on things! Though uh, admittedly I'm not trying very hard when it comes to ensuring you get the attention you deserve."
Delia giggles and reaches for a kiss: "Fine, I guess, that part~." She flops to leaning on her lover: "Really I just wanna stay here right now. Well, besides needing to decide on a movie and snacks."
Gillian half-catches Delia and lets her hands rest against her back, rubbing gently, "Nothing too emotional, maybe. Though, you know I get emotional with most movies. Especially the ones you like most."
Delia hums: "We do share that. Something that makes us all feely but in a good way? Some classic animation?" Her tail wagging would give her opinion away even if she wasn't an obvious read for Gillian.
